Spa Tip: What is the difference between Botox and Injectable Fillers?
Botox targets the muscle contractions seen on the face with frown lines, crow’s feet and the forehead lines. These are created from frowning, squinting, smiling and moving the eyebrows. Botox is used to temporarily reduce muscle activity to create a smoothing of the frown lines between the brows, across the forehead and the crow’s feet around the eyes.
Injectable Fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane are used for the correction of moderate to severe lines in the lower face by adding volume or “filling”. They can also be used to add volume to the cheeks or address vertical lip lines or increase lip fullness.

Come join us for the 7th Annual “Fashion with Compassion” event brought together by Pittsburgh Magazine to support the American Heart Association’s “Go Red” campaign. Go Red for Women is an American Heart Association initiative to raise awareness about the dangers of heart disease for women. Bellissimo Plastic Surgery & Medi Spa believes providing education related to women’s health care is the most important thing we can do as a practice. The event will be held at Stage AE on August 22, 2019 from 6-8:30pm and will feature a fashion show, fundraiser, and silent auction.
