Injectable Rhinoplasty: A Non-surgical approach to the traditional nose job
What is an injectable rhinoplasty?
An injectable rhinoplasty is a non-surgical approach to the rhinoplasty or nose job. Using filler, our aesthetic providers are able to improve the nose’s contour, create a more symmetrical appearance, and fill in any imperfections. An injectable, non-surgical nose job is not meant to replace the traditional rhinoplasty, but it is a viable approach for patients who do not need a surgical reduction rhinoplasty yet desire an aesthetically pleasing nose shape.
Getting a rhinoplasty without going under anesthesia
One of the many benefits of opting for a non-surgical rhinoplasty is that it is an in-office procedure. Patients are in and out in less than one hour. Although a provider does apply a numbing cream to the area, the procedure is relatively painless.
JUVEDERM AND RESTYLANE FOR NON-SURGICAL RHINOPLASTIES
Restylane is the filler used at Bellissimo Plastic Surgery for a non-surgical nose job. Hyaluronic acid fillers are a safe injectable for this type of procedure and results tend to be immediate.
COMMON NOSE ISSUES THAT CAN BE FIXED WITH AN INJECTABLE RHINOPLASTY
Injectable rhinoplasty fillers are proving to be very successful in improving the smooth appearance of a patient’s nose. Patients seek non-surgical rhinoplasties to make nasal bumps look less prominent. Another aspect of the procedure involves a filler being injected into the nasal tip to help elevate the tip and correct minor drooping.
Additionally, these fillers are good for correcting a visibly asymmetrical nose, fill imperfections, and adding more definition to a poorly defined nasal bridge.
Recovery Time And Process/How Long Will It Last
Prior to the procedure, we apply a topical numbing cream to the nose. This will prevent any major discomfort during treatment. Injection areas vary depending on the desired results from the patient, however, it is best to start by injecting along the bridge of the nose and then a few more injections on the end of the nose to elevate the tip.
One of the most attractive things about a non-surgical rhinoplasty is the fact that there is virtually no downtime. Patients can expect a very quick appointment so they can feasibly return to work once the treatment is complete. Swelling and bruising will be mild. The tip of the nose will be the most sensitive area post-treatment.
Restylane will last approximately 1-2 years.
