What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is pigment placed under the skin, or dermis layer. Our trained provider works alongside you to create the desired shape, size and color for each individual treatment. Facial shape is taken into consideration as well as facial features when designing your brows, eyelash enhancement or lip blushing. This is a combined effort and your desired expectations should be discussed with your provider and reviewed prior to treatment.
What solutions do you have available?
Our medical aesthetician provides the following solutions:
- Lip Blushing: Lip Blushing is a semi-permanent treatment that enhances the natural shape and pigment to your lips. This treatment can boost your appearance and subtly correct lip symmetry issues, too.
- Eyelash Enhancement: Our aesthetician will use a lash liner technique to enhance the lashes. This technique places pigment between each lash, resulting in the appearance of a full lash base.
- Brow Techniques: Like microblading, a permanent makeup technique to the brow creates the desired brow arch and shape. The difference, however, lies in the actual method of application and technique. Your desired brows can be discussed in a complimentary cosmetic consultation, where our aesthetician will recommend the right solution for you.
What can I expect if I choose Bellissimo?
Permanent makeup is a multi-session process. During the healing process the first application can fade up between 40-70%. If, at this point, you are dissatisfied with your results you can leave the treated area alone and it will shed or flake off most of the color as the body tries to heal itself.
Typically, most clients return requesting more color which can be done in another application scheduled 4 weeks apart. As the process is repeated the area will retain more color and give you the beautiful results you desire.
