RHA Redensity

The RHA collection of injectable fillers is resilient by design. It is made to move with the face by stretching and rebounding. Their new injectable product, RHA Redensity, otherwise known as the weightless lipstick line treatment, is the latest product in the RHA collection designed to adapt to facial movement.
What is RHA Redensity?
RHA Redensity is the first and only FDA-approved filler for injection into both the superficial dermis and dermis to treat moderate to severe dynamic perioral rhytids (around the mouth) and lipstick lines. The area around the mouth typically begins to show age-related changes earlier than other areas of the face. Redensity is made to hold up to the demand of this highly mobile and dynamic area which can be a challenge to treat. It is designed to adapt to facial movements in the same way that our tissue engages.
How is this product used?
RHA Redensity can be placed superficially in the dermis and used to soften lines without adding extra volume or heaviness. It allows for precise application into the perioral rhytids that require fine-tuning and less heavy volume. Numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to reduce the likelihood of pain and swelling. Avoid alcohol and caffeine prior to treatment as they may contribute to swelling, and avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Motrin to decrease your risk for bleeding or possible bruising.
Who should use this product?
RHA Redensity is appropriate for patients who want correction to fine lines around the mouth with a filler that can be placed superficially in the dermis without unwanted volume and heaviness. The results are a natural looking softening to the area treated without adding extra volume or affecting facial animation. Redensity is a fine-tuned finish for moderate to severe perioral rhytids, the lines around the mouth.
