Walk with me through the doors of Bellissimo!

Many people are curious about the consultation process and what is involved when scheduling a visit with Dr. Antimarino or one of our providers. Join us as we walk you through the experience, step by step!
Typically, most patients have been considering a procedure for quite some time and are not sure how to take the first step. Many are looking for information such as pricing or what exactly is involved regarding downtime or the ability to return to work. Potential patients may look online and read about the procedure or begin a google search for a plastic surgeon. Often the process stops at this point as it can be overwhelming to think about taking the next step. I would encourage patients to start looking up local, board-certified plastic surgeons or asking friends, family, co-workers, or even your physician for referrals or recommendations. Look at their website and read their reviews. If this looks good, take the plunge, and move forward.
Step 1:
Call the office or go online to fill out an inquiry form which can be found by clicking on the “Contact Us” button on the website. Either option allows the patient the opportunity to have questions answered prior to coming into the office. We also offer a virtual consult that is a secure, private portal that connects you directly with Dr. Antimarino. This can also be found on the website under the heading “Dr. Antimarino”. This is the first step in connecting with the office and getting yourself on the schedule. All our staff are trained to direct you to the appropriate provider.
A potential patient can call the office and discuss their concerns if they are not sure exactly what procedure or treatment they are considering. We offer complimentary cosmetic consultations for both non-surgical treatment patients and surgical procedure patients with our providers or Dr. Antimarino. If you are interested in skincare, skin treatments, or permanent makeup you will be scheduled with our aesthetician. If you are interested in Botox, Dysport, or an injectable filler, you will be scheduled with one of our nurse injectors. We have an Aesthetic Center that houses all our lasers and devices. These treatments start with a consultation with Dr. Antimarino and the development of a treatment plan to help you reach your aesthetic goals. Our practice is passionate about educating patients and there is no charge for a cosmetic consultation.
Step 2:
If you have inquired online, you will receive an email response where you have another opportunity to ask questions. Many times, patients are interested in pricing which can be difficult to quote until you have seen Dr. Antimarino, and a treatment plan is determined. The office will reach out to you for follow-up and can get you on the schedule for an in-person consultation. If you have called the office, a consultation can be scheduled at that time.
Although we do not charge for a cosmetic consultation, we do require a credit card number to hold the appointment. If you do not call or show up for the scheduled visit, you will be charged a $50.00 fee. New patient paperwork will be sent to you to be filled out prior to your visit. If you are unable to do so, we will have you fill it once you arrive. We will take a copy of your drivers license and insurance card if needed.
Step 3:
You will meet with your provider and review the procedure or treatment you are interested in. Many times, our Medi Spa will offer you the option when scheduling to allow extra time for a treatment if you decide to have it done. Dr. Antimarino will go over the procedure and answer any questions you have. He will discuss pre- and post-operative care and downtime.
Step 4:
After you have met with Dr. Antimarino, you will have the opportunity to sit with our patient care coordinator, Kristie, to discuss pricing and payment options. She will also go over available surgical dates if you decide you are ready to schedule your procedure. Kristie is the surgical patient liaison and is available to you throughout the process to help you with any concerns or questions. She will schedule your initial follow-up appointment after your procedure and walk you through the day of surgery, so you know exactly what to expect. If you decide that this is not something you wish to pursue at this time, there is no obligation required.
Our goal and commitment during the consultation process with any of our providers is to educate our patients on the options available to them to help them reach their goals.
