Dr. Jeffrey R. Antimarino

Dr. Jeffrey R. Antimarino

  • Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
  • Member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
  • Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS)
  • Allergan Medical Aesthetics Consultant
  • Key Opinion Leader and Speaker for Cartessa Aesthetics
  • B.S. Biology | Pepperdine University
    (Malibu, California)
  • Medical degree | Creighton University
    (Omaha, Nebraska)

Dr. Antimarino went on to train in general surgery and plastic surgery at one of the premier surgical training programs in the country, the University Of Southern California (USC). During his general surgery training, USC had a well-developed bariatric surgery center, which allowed Dr. Antimarino to train in the latest weight loss procedures. It gave him the insight needed to better understand the problems patients may face when dealing with obesity and their journey in maintaining weight loss. His plastic surgery training was extensive in breast reconstruction, reconstruction after weight loss, burns, pediatrics, birth defects, and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Antimarino excelled at USC and received numerous honors and awards during his training, many of them in teaching.

Upon completing his training in 2001, Dr. Antimarino was asked to join the staff at USC and was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor teaching residents and medical students the most current and innovative techniques in plastic surgery and burn care. During this time, he was also asked to join one of the most prestigious and well-known private practice groups in Southern California, located in Santa Monica. Dr. Antimarino spent the next five years splitting his time between teaching at USC and developing his private practice. Although this was very rewarding for him, it was challenging to keep this pace as he and his wife, Ella, began their family with three children. In 2006, Dr. Antimarino stepped down from USC to fully concentrate on his private practice, specializing in aesthetic procedures, breast surgery, breast reconstruction, and reconstruction after weight loss.

In 2007, Dr. Antimarino relocated his practice from Southern California to the Pittsburgh area. With a strong sense of community and the desire to educate and connect with patients, he and his wife felt Western Pennsylvania would be a perfect fit to build a practice and raise their family.

Dr. Antimarino maintains his California medical license, allowing him to stay on top of the latest trends and cutting–edge plastic surgery techniques. His compassion, artistry, and Southern California flair provide a unique blend of talents for his patients.

Dr. Antimarino holds privileges at Westmoreland Hospital, Monroeville Surgery CenterNorwin Surgery Center, Latrobe Hospital, and UPMC East Hospital. Dr. Antimarino also served on the program committee for the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has repeatedly been named one of Pittsburgh’s Top Doctors and continues to build a strong community connection through numerous speaking opportunities involving Breast Reconstruction, Post Weight Loss Procedures,  and Women’s Health.
