Where to Begin On Your Aesthetic Journey

Once you have decided that you would like to talk with a plastic surgeon about a procedure you are interested in, the next step is to do your research. Ask your friends, family, or co-workers who they might recommend. Your primary care physician or gynecologist may also have some good recommendations. Google plastic surgeons in your area and make note of those you think may be a good candidate for you to meet with.
Schedule a consultation. We offer a complimentary consultation, while some offices may charge a consultation fee. Bring your questions in for the surgeon so you don’t forget to ask him when you have the opportunity. Take note of the office and its location, the staff in the front and back office, and how you feel once you are there. This will be important if you decide to move forward, as you will be seeing them for follow-ups or any other concerns that may come up.
Ask about financing options. A patient care coordinator will go over pricing and payment options. They are typically your connection with the surgeon and will schedule your surgery and post-operative care.
Once the surgery is scheduled, make sure any pre-operative requirements are met, such as lab work or EKGs. Maintain communication with the patient care coordinator so you are comfortable and confident with any expectations involving your preoperative requirements.
Prepare for your post-operative care. Make sure you have your ride to and from surgery and someone to stay with you after you return home. Make sure you understand the post-operative downtime needed and adjust your schedule with work and family.
After surgery, sit back and relax. Follow your surgeons’ instructions for your best results. Be patient as your body heals, and allow time for your end results to appear.
